 Wayne
F. Owen, loving husband, father, and Papa, left us from this earth on
April 1, 2008. He was born May 15, 1945, to Bennie Fred and Yvonne R.
Owen, who preceded him in death. He joined the United States Marine
Corps in 1963, where he served 4 years and was honorably discharged in
1967. He then returned to Oklahoma, where he joined the Oklahoma City
Police Department in 1968, where he served proudly for 28 years. He is
survived by his wife, Darlene, of 42 years 3 children, Kevin Owen, and
wife ILa, Darla Doty, and husband Denis, and Amy Miller and husband
Terence brother, Bennie and wife Lynda brothers, David Winslow and
Leslie Dale and 8 loving beautiful grandchildren. He will be missed by
many. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Friday, April 4th, at
Grace Place Baptist Church, under the direction of Ford Funeral Service.
Burial will follow at Denver Cemetery in Norman.
